Workshop Breakdown:
Compositing in Fusion - 2 hours
- Understanding Fusion's flow graph
- Importing and organizing AOV passes
- EXR vs. Per File Management
- Setting up flow chart for layer contr
- Creating basic macros for easier attribute
management
- Importing UE camera data (this is an example but relevant to Blender or Maya too)
- Matching scenes
- Adding elements in comp
Editing in Resolve - 1 hour
- Getting comfortable with Resolve's UI
- Bringing your Fusion comp into the edit
- Look development
- Basic color correction / editing
- Final render setup
*Students will need DaVinci Resolve installed and access to content from the Unreal Engine renders supplied before class begins
