Robots and LED walls with Kevin Christopher Ep 37
For over 20 years Kevin Christopher has been honing his skills in Animation, Visual Effects and Editing. His passion for great storytelling and his unlikely background in architecture and engineering has brought a unique skillset to virtual production. As an award winning editor he knows what it takes to remove the words “fix it in post” from the production lexicon. Prior to serving as the Solutions Architect, and Post Production Supervisor Kevin spent years providing editorial services for clients such as Home Depot, Coca Cola, and Turner Classic Movies. Kevin has worked on film restorations of feature films as well as creating and designing DVD and Blu-Ray’s for distribution. Kevin has created nDisplay setups for more than just virtual production. For M.O.T.R. (Millions of Tiny Robots) he created the Illuminarium Experience setup that ties 32 Disguise RX nodes and 12 Disguise VX4’s to create a realtime rendered experience powered by Unreal Engine. Kevin’s goal is to move much of VFX from Post production to Pre Production so that what’s captured in camera is as dynamic as possible and allows the actors to feel as if they were in the environment, thus creating the most genuine performance possible.
