For CG Pro's Non-Unreal Engine courses, there are no prerequisites! Our courses are tailored for beginners learning the software for the first time, or for experts returning to brush up on their skills!

For CG Pro's Unreal Engine: Fundamentals and Intro to Game Development courses, there are no prerequisites.

For CG Pro's Unreal Engine: Filmmaking course, we highly recommend having prior experience equivalent to our Unreal Engine: Fundamentals course, as there is an assumed working knowledge of Unreal Engine before beginning the course content.

Since our courses are comprised of pre-recorded lectures, we are unable to grant refunds or discounts.

PUATC stands for Premier Unreal Authorized Training Center.  Epic has given this status to a handful of schools that meet their exacting standards for teaching Unreal Engine and Virtual Production, and has outstanding instructors with years of film industry experience. CG Pro is proud to be one of 5 Premier Authorized Training Centers in the world, and the only one in North America. Recommended Hardware

• Desktop or Laptop: Desktops are recommended for Virtual Production. Laptops are portable but less powerful and harder for in-camera VFX.
• Operating Systems: PC recommended. Mac and Linux work but may have compatibility issues. Bootcamp can help on Mac but may create additional problems.
• Hard Drive: NVMe M.2 SSD required, especially for Nanite in UE5. Install OS, programs, and Unreal projects here. 2TB minimum, 4TB recommended.
• CPU: Intel i9 or AMD Ryzen/Threadripper
• RAM: 32GB minimum, 64GB recommended for UE5, 128GB+ preferred
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA preferred (AMD Radeon also works). Use recent cards from the last year. NVIDIA RTX 20-series+ required for real-time ray tracing. RTX 3090 ideal but availability varies.
• [Puget Systems] make great pre-built machines with a very reasonable turnaround time. We have a special discount for our students. Please inquire for details as you can access this as a student.
